Tonight we had a special treat at our singles meeting. We had pizza and a movie. One of the "girls" rented Marley & Me. We had some trouble getting the DVD to work and had to call one of the men at home to come and set it up for us. Once we got it started, it was very good.
It was interesting to notice the change in the sounds in the room as the movie went on. At first there was a lot of laughter, then less and less. Toward the end there was some coughing, then some shifting around in our seats, then sniffles, then outright sobs. I guess you could say we all enjoyed the movie.
When I got home, I hunted for Crash and Burn and just hugged them. Of course, they thought I had finally snapped.
