There's No Place Like Home

I'm back. I was quite surprised at the reactions of Crash and Burn. They both came running to greet me at the door. Last year when I went away for two weeks, Crash just looked at me and turned away and Burnie limped to the door in a bid for sympathy. There was nothing wrong with him.

I had a great time in Lake George even though the weather wasn't too great. I heard that the weather at home was much worse. I learned a few things about the area, but that's for another time.

I really enjoy travelling, really I do. But I truly enjoy getting home. Tomorrow I'll unpack, or maybe the next day or the next.

WELCOME HOME !!!!!!
WE USED TO GO TO LAKE GEORGE REGULARLY FOR FAMILY VACATIONS WHEN THE KIDS WERE YOUNG. WE ALWAYS HAD A GOOD TIME. WE RENTED A CABIN ON THE LAKE WHICH WASN'T TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE WHOLE BROOD. I'M GLAD YOU HAD A GOOD TIME AND YES, THE WEATHER HAS STUNK EVERYWHERE. THAT'S ONE THING YOU CAN'T CONTROL. I'M GLAD YOU''RE BACK SAFE AND SOUND AND I'M SURE CRASH AND BURNIE ARE GLAD AS WELL.

Our daughter's cat (has now been with us 17 months) has her own way of welcoming us home.
She has started this nibbling business on WR's hands. And she chirps (my best description) and follows me around until I sit down. She's after my lap!
