Bright Stars

Tonight when I went out to get the mail I looked up at the sky and saw two very bright stars and a crescent moon. I immediately went to Google to check it out and searched "night sky". This sent me to Fox News', "Australians See Smiley Face in Night Sky". It's quite an interesting article.

The stars are Venus and Jupiter, and of course, the crescent is the moon. They were the brightest lights in the sky.

If, however, we were down under in Australia, they would have looked like a smile. Instead, because we're on the other side of the equator, if you bend your head to the right, you see a frown.

Grandpa and I were at a wonderful outdoor "Towns Square" mall with a great playground for kids. We brought our granddaughter to play. We, too, saw the bright, clear crisp crescent moon with the planets Venus and Jupiter. How exciting it was, and to know that you were watching, too, makes it all the more fun!
