Talented Friends

Today I learned that a friend of mine from grammar school has written a book. It's basically autobiographical about her family's adoption of two hard to place children aptly entitled Hard to Place.

I knew that she had adopted two children, but I had assumed they were babies when she chose them. She and her husband had three biological children when they made the decision to add to their family. She's a lovely woman and I'm not surprised that she opened her home to two more children.

I immediately ordered a copy and now I can't wait until it is delivered. All my other reading will be abandoned and I will devour this book. I'll let you all know how much I enjoyed it.

I think that we are going to enjoy HARD TO PLACE. I just started reading it, and tears cloud my eyes from time to time. It is thought provoking. It is easy to identify with the emotion and the pain and the joy...We have been there, each in our own way.
I look forward to reading it all!
