Autumn Views

Because my kitchen window faces toward the west, I usually can't do dishes until the sun goes down. I have to wash my dishes because I, like a lot of other women, have a great dislike of emptying the dishwasher.

This afternoon I was washing a few dishes and happened to look up. That tree has been there since I moved in three years ago, but I never really looked at it before. Its leaves have turned a beautiful shade of red. It was really breathtaking. This is the view from the kitchen window over the sink.

I may even wash dishes more often this fall.
